Summer Strings Program

The BSYO “Summer Strings” will be held from June 3rd – 7th, 2013, at Suntree United Methodist Church in Melbourne.  The event is open to young string players of all abilities who may have some experience but would like to experience larger ensemble playing.

The event will feature Carey Moorman, Musician with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic and String teacher at Satellite High School.  Other instructors TBA. There will be instrumental coachings, rehearsals and presentations on music and instruments played for the students by area professionals.  The fee for this workshop is $60, and materials are included.  The event is open to all students, regardless of BSYO annual participation.

Daily Schedule:

9:00-12:00 PM Middle School & Elementary Strings

(Group assignment based on 2012-2013 school grade and ability level)
