Three orchestra groups from the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra will present “Musical Giants” on Sunday, February 27th at 3:30 PM at Holly Trinity Episcopal Academy, 5625 Holy Trinity Drive (off the Pineda Cswy) in Suntree, 32940.
Dress Code
: Symphony Orchestra: Ladies:
- Black dress with sleeves (no bare shoulders or spaghetti straps)or Black blouse with sleeves (no bare midriff)
- Black dress pants or black skirt (mid-calf length or longer with no slits)
- Black hose
- Black shoes closed toe, 1 ½" heel or less
Gentlemen:
- Black tuxedo (jacket and pants)
- White long sleeve tuxedo shirt
- Black bowtie
- Black socks and black shoes
Sinfonietta: Ladies:
- White blouse with collar and sleeves
- Black dress pants or black skirt (mid-calf length or longer, no slits)
- Black hose and black shoes closed toe, 1 ½" heel or less
Gentlemen:
- White long sleeve tuxedo shirt with black bow tie
- Black dress slacks
- Black socks and black shoes
String Ensemble: Ladies:
- Black dress or black blouse with sleeves
- Black dress pants or black skirt (mid-calf length or longer, no slits)
- Black hose and black shoes, flats
Gentlemen:
- Black shirt
- Black pants
- Black socks and black shoes
Performers please arrange your hair off your face for concerts so we can see your eyes and you can see the music and conductor.
Curtain Call
:
In order for all the orchestras to get their necessary rehearsal times Sunday, the following schedule has been worked out. Holy Trinity will be opened at 12:00.
- The Symphony Orchestra will start rehearsing at 12:30.
- The Sinfonietta Orchestra will start rehearsing at 1:15 so should arrive by 1:00.
- The String Ensemble and Sinfonietta will rehearse together at 1:45 so the String Ensemble should arrive by 1:30.
- The String Ensemble will rehearse alone at 2:30. Everyone should then be finished rehearsing by 3:00.

Those of you who have singed up to help please arrive 15 minutes prior to your child's orchestra curtain call.
|

Ray Baldino, from Baldino Studio wile be on site in order to take group pictures of all orchestras while on stage. Please arrive in proper concert attire. Parents you will be able to place orders through May for the group pictures.

Attendance Policy Reminder
Students should arrive at rehearsals at least 10 minutes prior to a rehearsal and be tuned and ready to play on time. You are late if you are not in your seat, tuned and ready to play, when the rehearsal begins. Three late arrivals/early departures equal one absence.
All absences, early departures or late arrivals should be reported to your orchestra manager and conductor in advance of the rehearsal.
Students, please sign in to rehearsal to avoid being marked absent!
