Ensembles
The mission of the BSYO is to cultivate excellence in young musicians through expanding school-based music education with diverse ensemble experiences, instruction by master teachers and professional teaching artists, and providing premier performance opportunities that enrich our musicians and inspire the community.
The Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra is the premier orchestral training program of Florida's Space Coast. The BSYO provides high-quality music education programs that develop technical, interpretive, listening, and performance skills that improve students music literacy. We feel a responsibility to cultivate the next generation of young musicians and patrons of the arts within the Brevard community.
The BSYO offers four orchestral ensembles and three support programs for music students of all ages and levels. These ensembles rehearse weekly and perform four traditional concerts a year as well as additional performances within the community. In addition to ensemble training, students receive specialized coaching for their instrument or instrument family.
It is the hope of the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra that no qualifying student will be unable to participate because of financial need. Anyone for whom these options present a financial hardship should apply for a scholarship. Scholarship information and applications are available on the website and are due at the time of registration.

The Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra is committed to providing accessibility for all students. If any accommodations are required such as large print or brail copies of the program for a concert, please let us know but not less than 48 hours in advance.
BSYO rehearsals and concerts are located at Eau Gallie High School. EGHS has disabled parking located throughout the parking facilities, and all rehearsal and performance areas are wheelchair accessible.
